Hi! I used to be big into the iPod modding scene around 2005/2006, but ever since I upgraded to the classic because my iPod Video died, I stopped due to 7th-gen Classic not being cracked. Turns out they were able to get Rockbox working on it a few years ago.
I have 3 questions:
- I've seen a few torrents floating around for the clickwheel games. iTunes no longer supports the syncing of games, but is it still possible to copy games directly onto an iPod directory with cracked firmware, bypassing iTunes?
- While the classic can get Rockbox now, can its official firmware be cracked (for copying over clickwheel games, for example)?
- The few active torents I've seen only have between 12–20 games, even though this (incomplete) master list clearly shows that there are 52+ games:
Asphalt 4: Elite Racing
Bejeweled
Ive looked but they all say for ipod touch or iphone but on the ipod website it says you download some of these games but i dont want to waste my money if they dont work. Ive got an ipod nano 4th generation, is ther any games i can download onto it? Dom Ramsey has a video on Google Video that demonstrates an iPod nano with the ability to play a full color video. The iPod nano seems to be running a version of Linux with podzilla as the default. The ipod nano 4g comes with 3 games-Maze,Vortex and Klondike. In my opinion the best game is Maze. You rotate your ipod and try to get a ball in a hole. For more info go to ipod nano 4g games.
